I was overly excited when in April 2012 I was enlisted among the six out of about ninety students in my class to participate in an all-expense paid excursion to Lagos State in 2011, sponsored by Young StarMinds Network.  It was my first time traveling to Lagos State and it had a long-lasting impact on my life.

We visited so many places but the most remarkable for me was the visit to Covenant University, University of Lagos and National Museum.  The series of lectures we had, the motivation and exposure for someone who grew up in a remote village of Ondo State were life changing.  The experience further spurred my academic aspirations and it is a big part of my success story.

Today, I am an Upper Class graduate of Physiology from the prestigious University of Benin, Nigeria.

I participated in an unforgettable excursion to Lagos in 2011, organized by Young StarMinds Network. It was an experience I cannot forget in a hurry. I was most inspired and motivated when we visited Covenant University and University of Lagos. I saw University students of my age, I got inspired and determined that I will become one of them one day.  This became my driving force since then.  2 years later, I was admitted into the University

In spite of disruptions covid-19 brought to the education system, I finished my programme with excellent result.  I am highly indebted to the organizers of the excursion. It was a life changing experience for me.
